Sports Massage can also be used post competition which assists in the removal of waste products, aids recovery, increases blood circulation, reduces pain and helps to prevent the delayed onset of muscle soreness (d.o.m.s).

However many sports people benefit greatly from a regular maintenance massage focused on the specific needs that are generated from their sporting activities and training.

Techniques are drawn from deep tissue and remedial, often with more of a focus on lengthening and releasing muscles.
